Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson looked as good as ever at “UFC on FOX 24”, defending his UFC Flyweight Championship for the tenth time. He joins elite company, becoming just the second fighter to defend his championship ten times inside the octagon alongside Anderson Silva.
“Mighty Mouse” Johnson hopes to defend his title for the eleventh time to surpass Silva as the most dominant champion of all time, and if Saturday evening was any indication he can easily make it to fifteen championship defenses!
Johnson pushed a pace that Wilson Reis struggled and failed to keep up with the entire fight; Reis was playing catch-up from the get-go and Johnson was already three steps ahead of Reis by the time Reis figured out what to do next.
Johnson forced Reis into submission in the third round of their main event contest which aired on FOX and was asked about what was next. Johnson made it clear that it doesn’t matter if it’s someone in his weight-class he faces next, or UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt. He had one message for them:
