Diehard fans of the Ultimate Fighting Championship witnessed an instant-classic when they tuned into “UFC 202”. Nate Diaz got the best of Conor McGregor at “UFC 196” the first time they met, but both men proved how much heart they had with the performance in Las Vegas last year.
They painted the octagon with their blood, sweat, and tears to prove who was the better fighter and in the end, McGregor got his hand raised by way of majority decision. Even though these men went a total of five rounds that night, the crowd was as excited in the final ten seconds of the fight as they were ten seconds into it.
McGregor may have escaped with his hands held high in victory, but Diaz’s stock rose tenfold when he showed the world that his win at “UFC 196” was anything but a fluke. Diaz is the only man to push Conor to his limits inside the octagon, and fans want to see them clash a third and final time.
Whether or not that happens remains to be seen, but McGregor and Diaz were recently featured in a clip that was leaked containing corner audio from both Conor’s corner and Nate’s corner the night of their rematch. Catch the clip below:
