When unranked Conor McGregor teammate Artem Lobov got the call to face the #4 ranked Cub Swanson, it was a sign that his mouth cashed in on what he set out to do.
You see, before the UFC made this fight, Lobov continually harassed Swanson on social media, until eventually everyone gave in. The result was an obvious mismatch and months of brutal verbal warfare in the lead up.
In the end though, like most athletes in MMA, the two buried the hatchet in favor of respect.
