Rivalries in the world of mixed martial arts somehow always tend to cross the line, bringing family and loved ones into the mix. Just recently, Cody “No Love” Garbrandt and TJ Dillashaw’s beef got taken to the next level when the champion questioned the challenger’s mother’s involvement in their trash talk.
Now, a different pair of beefing-fighters are taking to social media to bring loved ones into the mix. Unbeaten lightweights Drakkar Klose and Mark Diakiese will be meeting inside the octagon at “The Ultimate Fighter 25” Finale in a battle for lightweight supremacy.
Klose and Diakiese have been dominant in the octagon thus far and diehard fans of the sport silently celebrated when the bout was announced. Both have shown a great deal of potential when fighting on smaller stages but with more eyes on them than ever before, they’re sure to put on a show.
It did not take long for these two to start going at it on social media as Diakiese claimed to have purchased a pillow for Klose going into their bout, insinuating that the undefeated fighter would be put to sleep. Klose’s response is as epic as it gets:
