UFC officials are apparently trying to put together a very intriguing welterweight clash between former division champion Robbie Lawler and popular fan-favorite Donald Cerrone.
ESPN took to twitter with the news just moments ago:

While stopping short of calling the scrap official, ESPN’s note that the fight is being considered in July aligns with the UFC’s annual international fight week.
The month of July is the UFC’s biggest time of year, often putting on multiple events inside a single week.
