UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody “No Love” Garbrandt and challenger TJ Dillashaw nearly came to blows on the set of “The Ultimate Fighter” after things got physical in the very first episode of the season.
Dillashaw and Garbrandt had been talking smack to each other all night, but it wasn’t until the two were in the locker room vestibule where things got seriously heated. Dillashaw called Garbrandt “fake”, to which Garbrandt responded by immediately latching onto the throat of Dillashaw.
While Garbrandt was choking Dillashaw, the cast of “Ultimate Fighter: Redemption” proceeded to pull them apart hoping that they would separate before anything got out of hand. Cooler heads eventually prevailed and Garbrandt and Dillashaw kept their hands off each other after the incident.
Garbrandt has shared his side of the story already, but Dillashaw remained silent about the controversial choke until now. TJ recently took to his social media account where he broke his silence on the subject with the following message:
There is a place for everything. Can't solve all disagreements or get what you want with violence. #doesntsolveproblems pic.twitter.com/AoaRmCDfHo
