UFC 210 went down last night, with Daniel Cormier successfully defending his belt from Anthony Johnson in the main event. Now, former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz is calling the title defender a cheater.
The weigh-ins for UFC 210 did not go without their controversy, as Cormier was forced to strip bare to make weight. The champion held onto a towel during his second weigh-in, causing many to speculate the accuracy of the fighter’s results.
Potentially, Tito Ortiz was refferencing what has become known as “towelgate” when he left the following Twitter post.
“Wow. The cheater won. #UFC210” Ortiz said, following the result of the night’s main event.
