Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson will be stepping into the octagon at “UFC on FOX 24” hoping to defend his UFC Flyweight Championship for the tenth time. Wilson Reis, his challenger, will be standing across from Johnson hoping to make history, becoming just the second flyweight champion in Ultimate Fighting Championship history.
In the co-main event of the evening, Rose Namajunas will try to prove to the world that she is not just a perennial challenger to the strawweight throne, but that she can dominate anybody that UFC President Dana White puts her in the octagon with. Michelle Waterson hopes to accomplish the same, but she is seemingly one step closer than “Thug” to a shot at Joanna Champion’s strawweight gold.
While their fighters have already made their fights for tomorrow’s event official, they still have to step onto the stage on fight night eve for the ceremonial weigh-ins! The weigh-in ceremony is set to kick off at 6:00 PM ET on Friday evening and you can check out the live link below:
Who do you think will walk out of the octagon with the gold strapped around their waist? Will Johnson retain his UFC Flyweight Championship, or will Reis shock the world and become the new king of the division? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
