Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey has not stepped foot inside the octagon or spoken to media since her devastating knockout loss to Amanda Nunes at “UFC 207” last year, and it seems like it might be staying that way for quite some time.
UFC President Dana White made his way to the desk for the “UFC 210” Post-Fight Press Conference on Saturday evening and in the midsts of all the questions surrounding the event was his comments about a potential return for Rousey. White explained that while they do talk once a week on the telephone, she has not mentioned a single thing about making her way back into the octagon for action.
“I have not [talked to her about a comeback to the Ultimate Fighting Championship]. Ronda and I talk maybe once a week, once every two weeks. She has not said anything to me about a comeback, and if I had to guess, I would guess that she does not come back.”
Do you think we will ever see Rousey back in action? Will she simply concentrate on bettering herself as an actress for the silver screen? If she were to make a comeback to the UFC, who do you think she should square off with? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
