UFC 210 was set to see strawweights Cynthia Calvillo and Pearl Gonzalez throw down inside the octagon. However, the fight was seemingly pulled from the card after it was revealed that Gonzalez allegedly has breast implants, which are prohibited under the New York ruleset in combat sports.
Now, UFC President Dana White has gone to social media to set the record straight, confirming that the fight is very much on. Check out White’s post below:
“So I pop on social media and see all this talk that this fight is off. STOP listening to web sites and whoever. If u don’t hear it from us it’s probably not true. THIS FIGHT IS ON!!!” White said.
Calvillo fights out of Team Alpha Male and impressed in her debut just a bit ago at “UFC 209”.
