Mixed martial artist Xu Xiaodong recently offered a fight challenge to any available masters of Tai Chi. The mixed martial artist had his wish granted as Tai Chi master Wei Lei agreed to face off with the fighter.
The fight did not go in Wei Lei’s favor, as Xu Xiaodong easily brought the Tai Chi master to the ground multiple times. Each time, the mixed martial artist poured on a heap of ground and pound. Ultimately, Xu Xiaodong put on a fairly dominant performance.
Since the bout, Xu Xiaodong has been receiving some heat. As reported by straitstimes.com, Chines multi-millionaire Chen Sheng has offered roughly $2 million to anyone who can beat the mixed martial artist.
The millionaire has claimed that he is out to “defend the dignity” of martial arts by putting a bounty on the head of Xu Xiaodong.
