As if getting your butt whooped inside a packed out arena, with millions of fans watching around the world, wasn’t enough…
According to multiple reports, including the police variety, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. was robbed inside the MGM Grand following his decisive loss to Canelo Alvarez.
Jr. opted to hang out with what are being referred to as “party girls”, and it was these girls that lifted his $40,000.00 watch and a check for $3 Million dollars.
According to Jr.’s wife, the couple were out on the town when a British man weaseled himself and his female party girls into their circle. The man and his girls ended up following Chavez and his entourage back to the hotel, where the crimes appear to have taken place.
Jr.’s wife went back to care for their children, and it was in these moments things went bad.
Hotel security was able to recover the check, however, police are still investigating the stolen watch.
