UFC strawweight Angela Magana has received a lot of attention lately when it comes to cyberbullying.
This past weekend, Magana was assaulted by Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino because of social media posts mocking the former world champion.
Ironically, Magana was asked about cyberbullying during an interview back in 2015.
“Is McGregor a bully? Is Ali a bully? Who is a bully? This is fighting. This isn’t like pattycake,” Magana said.
Magana had recently posted a photo comparing Justino’s appearance to the Jigsaw character from the “Saw” movie franchise.
During her interview in 2015, Magana also made some interesting comments about her fighting career.
Magana is on a four-fight losing streak and has lost both of her UFC fights. She has not fought since 2015 when she lost to Waterson. Prior to the fight, Magana said she would probably get cut from the UFC if she lost. However, as of today, Magana is still on the UFC roster.
