The 2017 UFC fighter summit has cultivated a little controversy. The event came to an end last night, with an conflict breaking out between two of the promotion’s female fighters.
Former Invicta FC featherweight champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino confronted UFC strawweight Angela Magana during the retreat. Police enforcement was called by the UFC after “Cyborg” struck Magana. Angela Magana is now pressing charges.
However, it would appear that Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino was disgruntled before the incident at the retreat. Over Instagram, the fighter posted “I did 1.3 million views for @danawhite and the @ufc during my last fight on @fs1!!!! 10 months later I still don’t have an opponent announced for #ufc214 and the company can’t seem to find my photo for promotion. @seanshelby let me know if you need me to email you some high resolution photos of my self. ”
