Cerrone: ‘Let Jon Jones do drugs and kick ass! Who cares!’

UFC star Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone doesn’t mind if his training partner Jon Jones does recreational drugs.

In an interview with TMZ, Cerrone said it’s fine if Jones does drugs as long as he keeps winning.

“I don’t know. He looks good. Yeah, he’s training hard, he’s in the gym.(Expletive) I dunno. If Jon wants to do drugs and still kick ass, you go ahead baby. Do your thing.”

In two of his scheduled fights against UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier, Jones has tested positive for drugs.

In 2015, Jones tested positive for cocaine while preparing for his first fight with Cormier. Jones went on to win that fight.

In 2016, Jones was pulled from a fight against Cormier after testing positive for a banned substance. Jones claims he tested positive after taking a male enhancement pill.

Jones is scheduled to fight Cormier for his title at UFC 214 on July 29 in Anaheim, California.

Cerrone is scheduled to fight former UFC Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler at UFC 213 on July 8 in Las Vegas.
