With the fight ultimately going the distance, Canelo Alvarez earned a unanimous decision victory over his opponent. Alvarez put on a dominant display in the fight, offering an unrelenting flurry of strikes to his opponent round after round.
Following the match, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. spent some time with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) competitors and mixed martial arts veterans Nate and Nick Diaz. The three fighters stopped for an interview with EsNews.
In the interview, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. explained that he doesn’t believe Canelo Alvarez is the best boxer the world has to offer. “He’s a good fighter. I don’t think he’s the best fighter in the world.” Chavez Jr. said.
