Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White is still trying to put together the cross-promotional matchup between Conor “Notorious” McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Most recently, the UFC president gave his thoughts on what the press conference would be like.
UFC lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor is looking to make the payday of his career with a highly anticipated boxing match against undefeated boxing phenom Floyd Mayweather Jr. While the fight is still far from official, it is still difficult for fans and fighters to not speculate on the possible match.
Among them, Dana White recently explained in an interview with The Fight Life that the press conference for McGregor vs. Mayweather has the potential to be more exciting than the fight.
“Usually when guys do press conferences with Floyd, they calm up and they don’t say anything. That won’t be the case in this one. The press conference will probably be better than the fight.” White explained.
