Electronic Arts (EA)’s third installment of its UFC franchise is expected to come out soon.
EA announced on Tuesday that UFC 3 is expected to come out in the first quarter of 2018.
EA did not reveal many details about the latest UFC game. The only details given included its release date, and that it would be available on consoles. This likely means UFC 3 will for sure be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. No details were given whether or not the game will be available for PC or mobile.
EA is continuing its pattern of releasing a UFC game every two years. Their first UFC game was released in June 2014, while the second game was released in March 2016.
No information was given on who could possibly be on the cover of the game. EA’s first installment of the game featured light heavyweight rivals Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson on the cover. Their second installment, UFC 2, featured the UFC’s two biggest stars Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey on the cover.
