UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody “No Love” Garbrandt has come a long way in a short amount of time in the world of MMA.
At age 25, Garbrandt is one of the youngest UFC champions of all time. Despite his young age, Garbrandt has been competing in combat sports for many years.
On Thursday, Garbrandt shared an old photo of himself during his days as an amateur boxer on his Instagram page. The high school photo features Garbrandt alongside his uncle after the future UFC champion won a trophy.
Garbrandt is undefeated in his MMA career with 11 wins. He won the UFC title in his last fight when he defeated Dominick Cruz back in December.
Gabrandt is currently a coach on The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption. He is coaching opposite of his former teammate and former UFC champion TJ Dillashaw.
At UFC 213, on July 8, Garbrandt will defend his title for the first time when he fights Dillashaw at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
