Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion Michael “The Count” Bisping is currently tangled up in a legal matter. The UFC middleweight champion is on his way to London’s High Court.
As reported by MMA Mania, Michael Bisping is currently in a contract dispute with his former gym and that gym’s owner, Anthony McGann of Wolfslair Academy. McGann is asking for $350,000 from the champion for a violation of contract.
However, Michael Bisping denies a violation of contract, claims the paperwork was forged and that his former manager made a threat on his life. Now, the two will have to settle things in court.
In the meantime, Michael “The Count” Bisping is gearing up for a potential fight date in July with No. 1 division contender Yoel Romero. The champion was initially set to welcome Georges St-Pierre back into the octagon, but the fight was later cancelled.
