UFC middleweight contender Gegard Mousasi is not a fan of women’s MMA. He especially doesn’t like former title challenger Bethe Correia.
“That Correia, she sucks!” Mousasi said in a recent interview. “She’s a terrible fighter and she’s arrogant. I don’t know how she can be fighting on the main stage. The women fights suck. I don’t like to watch the women fights.”
Correia is scheduled to headline an upcoming UFC Fight Night event in Singapore on June 17. Her opponent will be former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm.
Correia is coming off a draw against Marion Reneau. In her previous fight, she won a split decision against Jessica Eye.
Holm is on a three-fight losing streak. She lost her UFC title to Miesha Tate. Holm then lost a decision to Valentina Shevchenko. In her last fight, Holm lost to UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Germaine de Randamie.
Mousasi is currently on a five-fight win streak. He is coming off a TKO win over former UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman. His win streak also includes victories over Vitor Belfort, Thales Leites, Uriah Hall, and Thiago Santos.
