Portland, Oregon hosted the latest event for Submission Underground over the weekend. The grappling tournament Submission Underground 4 went down on May 14.
With the competition now in the books, some of the night’s fighters have already begun trash talking for a rematch. One of the night’s most highly anticipated matchups was that of Dillon Danis and Jake Shields.
Mixed martial arts veteran and former UFC competitor Jake Shields has been having some beef with Conor McGregor’s grappling coach Dillon Danis. The mixed martial arts veteran ultimately came out on top over the weekend, having defeated his opponent by decision through faster escape times.
Now, Jake Shields has taken to Twitter to leave a message for his defeated opponent. “Dillon ‘the baby’ Danis is already making excuses asking for a rematch. I’ll beat you any rule set so stop crying @dillondanis,” He said.
