UFC 211 took place Saturday night. In the main event, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held an exciting heavyweight title fight matchup. Following the main event battle, Junior Dos Santos has come forward with his thoughts.
In the night’s Dallas, Texas main event, UFC heavyweight Stipe Miocic faced off against former champion Junior Dos Santos in a title fight rematch. However, the battle did not go in the challenger’s favor.
Stipe Miocic made short work of his opponent by earning a first round technical knockout finish over Junior Dos Santos. However, Junior Dos Santos does not appear to hold any resentment over the reigning champion. The former champion has left a respectful message concerning Miocic.
In an interview with UFC on FOX, Junior Dos Santos said “He’s on the way. Because he’s doing actually great and like I said, I admire him. Like I said again, if I’m not the champion, I’m happy he’s the champion.”
