UFC welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal is not happy about not getting much attention from the UFC in the lead up to his next fight.
Masvidal is scheduled to fight Demain Maia on Saturday in a pivotal fight in the UFC welterweight division. The winner of this fight could likely be next in line to fight UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley.
Despite Masvidal fighting in a major fight, very little of the event’s promotion has been dedicated to Masvidal or Maia.
On Tuesday, Masvidal reacted to not being a part of the UFC Embedded series for UFC 211.
“Story is sold not told,” Masvidal tweeted while responding to someone saying the UFC made a mistake not featuring Masvidal on the series.
Masvidal is currently on a three-fight win streak and is coming off two of the biggest wins of his career. He is coming off consecutive TKO wins over Donald Cerrone and Jake Ellenberger.
