Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson became famous for his street fighting prowess. After shoring up a record of street brawls, the fighter made his way to the professional league of mixed martial arts.
“Kimbo Slice” performed under both the Ultimate Fighting Championship and Bellator MMA banners for a short time. However, the fighter passed away from heart failure just last year. Now, it would appear that the fighter’s son is returning to the sport.
Kevin “Baby Slice” Ferguson Jr. made his Bellator MMA debut last year, losing to Aaron Hamilton by submission in the second round. Now, the fighter is making his return. As posted on Twitter by the Bellator promotion, Ferguson Jr. is making his way to Bellator 179.
On May 19, Ferguson Jr. will be facing D.J. Griffin. Bellator 179 goes down inside the Wembley Arena in London, England. In the night’s main event, Paul Daley will be taking on Rory MacDonald.
