Las Vegas sportsbooks are already accepting bets for a potential dream boxing match between boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
The Westgate SuperBook, in Las Vegas, made Mayweather a -2,500 favorite, with McGregor being a +1,100 underdog back in February.
With McGregor being such a massive underdog, the majority of all bets placed at SuperBook have been for the UFC champion.
“Most fights that are not official don’t garner much handle until officially becoming announced,” SuperBook assistant manager Jeff Sherman told ESPN. “I’m not surprised by the McGregor support, just that it has come without an official fight announcement.”
Today, Mayweather is listed as a -900 favorite, with McGregor as a +700 underdog.
The biggest bet to come in, as of today, was a $1,500 wager while McGregor was a +800 underdog.
SuperBook has accepted over $10,000 in bets for the potential boxing match. However, if the fight ends up happening not in a boxing match, or does not happen by May 13, 2018, all bets will be refunded.
