Mike Perry Showed Up At A Woodley Seminar, Just To Threaten The UFC Champ In Person

UFC welterweight prospect “Platinum” Mike Perry attended a seminar hosted by UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley, but wanted to do more than just learn from the champion.

Perry arrived at Woodley’s seminar not to train, but to tell the UFC champion that he was coming for his title.

Woodley was not upset with Perry’s threat, he was actually impressed.

“If you can pull up on me, and come straight to my face, and tell me you’re coming for my belt, I respect you,” Woodley said talking about Perry.

Despite wanting to fight the champion, Perry also trained at the seminar and learned some things from the champion.

Perry is coming off the biggest win of his UFC career. In April, he knocked out Jake Ellenberger at a UFC Fight Night event in Nashville, Tennessee.

After the fight, Woodley reached out to Perry to congratulate him. According to Woodley, Perry then sent him a video saying, “Hey what’s up? You like this belt? I’m collecting belts. Ha ha ha.”
