UFC superstar Nate Diaz just dropped a shocker on the MMA world.
While doing a special interview with Ariel Helwani, Nate was asked point blank if the UFC offered him a fight against Tony Ferguson.
Nate replied with an emphatic, “Yes!”. He said, “I accepted it too”. But then Nate revealed he never heard back.
As part of the negotiations process, Nate obviously has a dollar amount in mind, and the UFC wasn’t willing to pay it, putting the fight on ice.
Nate then said, he wants Conor and Tony to fight each other, stating, ‘They both have the same manager… I’m not doing their work for them.’
While on the show Nate said he’s taking the year off, and is no longer interested in a third Conor fight.
