UFC super-star Nate Diaz just revealed his plans to not fight in 2017.
The UFC is currently experiencing their first calendar year under the new ownership and simultaneuously experiencing their worst year with ratings in about a decade.
This is something not lost on Nate Diaz, who believes he doesn’t need to fight, and explained it today to Ariel Helwani.
“I plan on sitting out this year. As of right now, there’s nothing going on”, said Diaz.
“If you guys want me to fight someone, all you got to do is call and ask… But I’m enjoying just chilling. That’s what we fight for. To make it to the times where we don’t have to do anything.”
“So, I’m sitting back and watching it go down.”
