The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held an enticing event last night. UFC 211 went down inside the American Airline Center in Dallas, Texas. The event hosted a contentious no contest bout, two title defenses and a few upset victories to top things off.
UFC welterweight competitor Jorge Masvidal was looking to extend his three fight winning streak last night, as the fighter faced grappling phenom Demian Maia. However, things did not go in the fighter’s favor.
After a strenuous three rounds, the fight ultimately went the distance. Demian Maia earned a split decision victory over his opponent. However, the score cards from the night’s officiating judges have made their way onto the internet.
The score cards reveal that Jorge Masvidal was given the first round by two judges. However, the fighter was awarded the second round on two occasions as well. Demian Maia was granted the third round, swaying things in the grappling phenom’s favor.
