UFC welterweight contender Demain Maia is the betting underdog for his upcoming fight against Jorge Masvidal.
On Wednesday, the EA UFC Instagram page posted a photo showing the betting odds for the five main card fights for this Saturday’s UFC 211.
The most surprising of the betting odds is Maia being a +115 underdog, while Masvidal is a -135 favorite.
Maia is currently on a six-fight win streak. He is coming off two submission wins over Matt Brown and Carlos Condit. His win streak also includes wins over Gunnar Nelson and Neil Magny.
Masvidal is on a three-fight win streak. He is coming off two TKO wins over Jake Ellenberger and Donald Cerrone.
The other favorites on the UFC 211 main card are UFC champions Junior dos Santos and Joanna Jedrzejczyk, along with Frankie Edgar and Henry Cejudo. The other underdogs are title challengers Junior dos Santos and Jessica Andrade, along with Yair Rodriguez and Sergio Pettis.
