The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s attendance record stands at a staggering 56, 214 fans. The record was set back at UFC 193 in 2015, in which former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey faced off against fellow former champion Holly Holm. Now, it would appear that the mixed martial arts promotion KSW has broken that record.
As reported by Sports.pl, KSW 39 went down May 27 inside the Warsaw National Stadium in Poland. KSW 39 reportedly sold 57,766 tickets, breaking the UFC record.
“KSW is often compared with the UFC,” Lewandowski stated. “Let’s talk about the facts. KSW Colosseum sold more tickets than the UFC’s largest event in history in Melbourne. We have nothing to be ashamed of. A small Polish company has overtaken global giant! If Dana White is looking for work, we can always talk.”
