Mixed martial arts is a passionate sport. Fighters invest months worth of blood, sweat and tears into their performances inside the cage. Coaches and teammates do much of the same simply to see their fighters succeed.
As a result, when a stoppage doesn’t go a fighter’s way, cornermen can become very vocal with the referee. In this bout, a fighter’s cornerman was not happy with the referee’s stoppage of the bout. As a result, the cornerman received a swift strike to the face from the fight officiator.
