Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has not competed in the UFC since her loss to reigning champion Amanda Nunes last December. Instead, the mixed martial artist has been spending some time stretching her acting muscles.
Since her fight with Nunes, Rousey has scored an acting role on the hit NBC television show Blindspot. Now, it would appear that Rousey has snagged another T.V. spot.
As reported by MMA Fighting, Ronda Rousey will now be leading a team on ABC’s Battle of the Network Stars. For the show, celebrities are set against each other to compete in various athletic challenges. Rousey will be leading a team opposite Denver Broncos’ DeMarcus Ware.
The initial episode for the season will air June 29 at 9 p.m. ET..
