Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is taking some time away from the sport. While the fighter has not officially retired, many have begun to speculate her potential to return.
Now, the former UFC bantamweight champion is exploring her acting career. Most recently, Ronda Rousey scored a spot in the hit television show Blindspot. It is not yet apparent if the fighter’s character will reappear in the show.
Back in 2012, Ronda Rousey was getting some screen time with CBS and putting her fighting career into high gear. Rousey appeared on CBS’c Conan for a conversation on pre-fight abstinence.
In the interview, Conan asked the former champion if female fighters take part in the supposed ritual adopted by many male fighters. The ritual in consideration is of taking abstinence just before a fight.
