UFC star Sage Northcutt shared a picture of his sister, leading up to her professional MMA debut, on his Instagram on Wednesday.
“I’m excited to see my sister fight June 23 in Houston LFA Championships!” Northcutt wrote on his Instagram page.
Colbey Northcutt is Sage’s older sister. Even though she will be making her highly anticipated pro debut for LFA in June, she does have experience fighting as an amateur.
Colbey won her last three fights as an amateur and has an overall amateur record of 4-1. Three of her wins came by submission within the first two rounds. Her only loss came by a split decision.
While her amateur career is impressive, Colbey has not competed in the sport in almost three years. However, if she is capable of continuing where she left off as an amateur, Colbey is likely to quickly become a prospect in the women’s bantamweight division.
