The official promotional video for Chael Sonnen’s Submission Underground 4 has been released.
The event will be headlined by a grappling match between Dillon Danis and former UFC title challenger Jake Shields.
“I’ll show Jake Shields what the real American Jiu-Jitsu is. I don’t think he is on my level at all, I don’t think anyone is,” Danis said.
Danis is a Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. He is also a teammate of UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor. Danis also recently signed a deal with Bellator MMA, where is expected to make his MMA debut in the near future.
Shields is widely recognized as one of the best jiu-jistu fighters in MMA history. His grappling skills led him to be one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world at one time. He is a former Strikeforce champion and has notable MMA wins over Robbie Lawler, Demian Maia, Dan Henderson, and current UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley.
Submission Underground 4 will also feature a grappling match between Urijah Faber and Paulo Miyao.
Submission Underground 4 will take place May 14 in Portland, Oregon. The event can be watched live a FloGrappling.com.
