UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk appears to have had a tough time making weight for her last title defense.
After making the 115-pound weight limit for her title defense, Jedrzejczyk shared some photos where the champion looks completely drained.
Despite appearing to have a tough weight cut, Jedrzejczyk looked great in her title defense. At UFC 211, Jedrzejczyk defended her title against Jessica Andrade. The champion went on to dominante almost every round of the fight. In the end, Jedrzejczyk won a unanimous decision to defend her title for the fifth consecutive time.
Luckily for Jedrzejczyk, the UFC is adopting a flyweight division in 2017. If her weight cut is too much, Jedrzejczyk can move up to 125 pounds. The champion has already shown interest in fighting at flyweight. However, she still also wants to compete as a strawweight.
In the photos below, you can see how depleted Jedrzejczyk looked following her weight cut for UFC 211.
