Sonnen Turns Poet In Latest Round Of Wanderlei Silva Trash-Talk

Former UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen showed off his poetry skills by tweeting numerous short poems.

Last week, in the middle of the night, Sonnen sent out 10 tweets, each being a short poem about his upcoming opponent Wanderlei Silva.

Some examples of Sonnen’s creative poems include:

“Kim married Yeezy. Chris Brown’s called Breezy. Pizza’s rather cheezy. Beatin’ Wanderlei’s Eazy.”

“Day follows night. Sometimes dogs bite. Yetis are white. Wandy can’t fight.”

Sonnen will fight Silva in the main event of Bellator MMA: NYC. This will be Bellator’s first show at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York City.

In January, Sonnen made his Bellator debut. He was submitted in the first round by UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz.

Silva has not fought since 2013. In March 2013, Silva knocked out Brian Stann at a UFC Fight Night event in Japan.

Bellator MMA: NYC will be the second MMA event to take place at Madison Square Garden. The first was UFC 205 last November.
