UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic was given a hero’s welcome at the latest Cleveland Cavalier’s playoff game.
During halftime, Machine Gun Kelly did a musical performance. During his performance, Kelly introduced Miocic, who received a nice ovation from the Cleveland crowd.
Miocic gave Kelly one of his championship belts after he made his way to the court.
Miocic had three UFC titles. He won his first UFC championship in May 2016 when he knocked out then-champion Fabricio Werdum. Miocic received his second belt when he defended his title, in Cleveland, by knocking out Alistair Overeem. Earlier this month, Miocic once again defended his title by knocking out former champion Junior dos Santos.
Miocic has become a sport’s hero in the city of Clevland. He famously uses Machine Gun Kelly’s song about the city when walking to the cage.
With his win over Dos Santos, Miocic tied the UFC record for the most consecutive heavyweight title defenses. In the video below, you can watch Miocic’s appearance at the Cavalier’s game.
