UFC lightweight contender Tony Ferguson has never been shy when it comes to showing his disdain for UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
On Tuesday, Ferguson aimed his frustrations at McGregor’s head coach John Kavanagh.
“Trainers Like You Callin’ Themselves Coach. When All They Do Is Ride The Coattails & Try To Claim. Maintain Your Lane (expletive),” Ferguson tweeted at Kavanagh.
Ferguson has been upset with McGregor over not receiving a title shot. McGregor, who won the lightweight title back in November, has shown no intentions of defending his championship. Instead, he is pursuing a boxing match against Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
Ferguson is currently on one of the most impressive win streaks in the history of the UFC. He is on a nine-fight win streak in the promotion, and over half of those wins have come by submission.
In November, Ferguson won a decision against former UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael dos Anjos. His win streak also includes notable victories against Josh Thomson, Gleison Tibau, and Edson Barboza.
