At UFC 212, UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo will defend his title against Interim UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway.
On Wednesday, the UFC released an extended preview for their next pay-per-view event. The entire video can be seen below.
This will be Aldo’s first title defense since regaining his featherweight title. Aldo won an interim featherweight title back in July when he defeated Franke Edgar. When former featherweight champion Conor McGregor was stripped of the title, Aldo’s title was promoted to the undisputed championship.
Holloway is currently on a 10-fight winning streak in the UFC. He won the interim title back in December by defeating former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis. His win streak also includes wins over Cub Swanson, Charles Oliveira, Jeremy Stephens, and Ricardo Lamas.
UFC 212 will also feature the retirement fight of Vitor Belfort as he fights Nate Marquardt. In the co-main event, former title challenger Claudia Gadelha will fight fellow former title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
