The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) just completed its UFC athlete retreat. While the event has now come to an end, the retreat did not go without its drama. Former Invicta FC featherweight champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino has come under fire for a confrontation with Angela Magana. Now, it would appear that another fighter has drawn some attention.
UFC lightweight Kajan Johnson was present for a presentation during the retreat. Johnson took a moment from his seat among the audience to make a stand and speak out against the UFC’s recent athlete uniform deal with Reebok.
The mixed martial artist can be heard explaining that he has “lost 80 percent of my sponsorship money.” In the end, the fighter was removed from the presentation. For the full protest, see the video above.
