UFC Results: Sobotta Picks Apart Saunders, Drops Him for TKO Win

The UFC returned to Stockholm, Sweden for a special Sunday edition of UFC Fight Night.

In the main event, Sweden’s own Alexander Gustafsson fights fellow former title challenger Glover Teixeira.

Before the pivotal light heavyweight fight, the UFC once again stacked the card with numerous intriguing matchups.

In a welterweight showcase, Peter Sobotta fought Ben Saunders on the main card.

Sobotta waited little time to get the fight started. Sobotta quickly dropped Saunders with a flurry of punches. Saunders quickly recovered and began trading with Sobotta. Both fighters had shinning moments throughout the round. Ath the end of the round, Sobotta dropped Saunders with a brutal punch. Saunders recovered and got the fight into his guard to fininsh the opening round.

Sobotta was less agressive to start the second round. After being hesitant, Sobotta awoke and began throwing flurries that rocked Saunders. Sobotta continued to pick apart Saunders and picked up a knockout win.
