The UFC returned to Stockholm, Sweden for a special Sunday edition of UFC Fight Night.
In the main event, Sweden’s own Alexander Gustafsson fights fellow former title challenger Glover Teixeira.
Before the pivotal light heavyweight fight, the UFC once again stacked the card with numerous intriguing matchups.
On the main card, welterweight fought inside the octagon as Oliver Enkamp fought Nordine Taleb.
Taleb started the fight with throwing punches, but Enkamp retaliated with a kick. Enkamp continued to throw flashy kicks at his opponent, but Taleb kept his composure. Enkamp later went for a takedown, but Taleb managed to stay on his feet. After fighting up against the cage, Enkamp finally got the fight to the ground, but Taleb didn’t stay down for long. Both fighters engaged in a clinch and began throwing knees. Eventually, Taleb took the fight to the ground. The round ended with both fighters scrambling on the mat.
Enkamp continued to be flashy with his kicks at the start of the second round. Taleb began to be more active with his punches in the middle round. Enkamp went for a takedown, but Taleb stuffed it. Eventually, Taleb managed to secure top position. Enkamp tried to get back to his feet, but he could not break the grip of Taleb. The round ended with Taleb on top of the UFC newcomer.
Both fighters traded strikes to start the last round. Neither fighter would back down to the other despite both men landing strong shots. Taleb eventually landed a takedown. Enkamp briefly went for a guillotine choke. Taleb began landing punches and elbows on the ground, while Enkamp fought to change the position. The fight ended with Taleb staying on top with Enkamp being active from the bottom.
