The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president has been working hard to nail down a deal for Conor McGregor to face off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. While things have not yet been fully lined up, the president believes McGregor is a bigger deal than Manny Pacquiao.
UFC lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor is striving to achieve a career high payday in a cross-promotional bout with boxing phenom Floyd Mayweather Jr. The UFC president has already squared things away with McGregor, but Floyd Mayweather has yet to sign.
UFC President Dana White recently appeared for an interview with MMA Weekly. Within the interview, the UFC president revealed that he believes Conor “Notorious” McGrego is a larger deal than Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao faced off against Mayweather for a 40/60 percent split.
While Dana White has made his opinion of the UFC champion clear, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has still not signed anything. That in mind, many believe the bout to simply be a matter of time.
