$300 Million? Mayweather Makes First Public Appearance Since Signing McGregor Contract

Floyd “Money” Mayweather seems to be very happy after yesterday’s historic announcement.

On Wednesday, both Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor confirmed that they have agreed to fight each other in a boxing match.

The two will fight on Aug. 26 in a 12-round fight. The fight will be contested at 154 pounds. The bout will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

UFC President Dana White said he expects McGregor to make around $100 million when he fights Mayweather. It is expected that the boxing legend will be the higher paid of the two fighters, but Mayweather has not disclosed how much he is going to be compensated.

On Thursday, TMZ tried to ask Mayweather how much he was going to be paid to fight the UFC champion, but he would not share any details. However, he was all smiles when it came to talking about the fight.
