Cocky Fighter Pays Dearly For Lack of Respect Inside the Cage-Replay

It’s never a good idea to get too cocky while you’re fighting inside of a cage.

On Friday, a fighter paid the price for being over confident at Legacy Fighting Alliance 13.

Jordan Powell mocked his opponent, Dominick Reyes, early in their fight by saying Reyes’ punches didn’t hurt him.

While shaking his head, Powell ate a powerful head kick that knocked him out.

Reyes is an up-and-coming prospect in the light heavyweight division. He is currently undefeated with six wins. Four of his wins have come by knockout or TKO.

Powell is now 8-7 in his MMA career. He may want to start giving his opponents more respect if he wants to improve his record in the future.
