The feud between UFC President Dana White and his champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson is ongoing.
The two have been battling in the eyes of the public for the better part of a week now, and there seems no end in sight.
The champ wants respect and financial support, and Dana White just wants his fighter to fight.
In a new statement, heard in the video above, the UFC President downgrades Johnson’s pound-for-pound status and plays down his role on the UFC roster.
Dana stated, “The media claims he’s the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world. I think Conor McGregor is the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world. If you look at what that really means, what pound-for-pound means…Conor doesn’t give a (expletive). He’ll fight anybody, anywhere, anytime.
Demetrious is the pound-for-pound best guy in the world then? Fight T.J. Dillashaw. Fight somebody that people will actually care about and be interested in.”
