UFC President Dana White is not happy with the Texas State Athletic Commission.
Last month’s UFC 211 was held in Dallas, Texas. At the event, UFC strawweight Cortney Casey earned the biggest win of her MMA career when she defeated Jessica Aguilar.
After the fight, Casey failed her drug test from the state of Texas, and the commission overturned her win into a no-contest.
However, Casey had never failed a drug test from the U.S Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), who is the official anti-doping partner of the UFC.
The UFC and USADA are adamant that Casey was not using performance-enhancing drugs.
“Texas fans are great to us! The Texas Commission needs to get their (expletive) together for the protection of our athletes,” White wrote on his Instagram page accompanied by a photo of Casey.
On Thursday, the UFC released a statement asking the state of Texas to reverse their decision regarding Casey.
